Ecto 1

One of the most iconic vehicles in cinema history. The Ecto 1 burst onto the scene in 1984 in Ghostbusters. Our first shot of the "finished" Ecto 1 was during the GB's first call to the Hotel Sedgewick.  When the firehouse doors opened and Ecto 1 came tearing out and raced right over, fans fell in love.

Here are a some shots of Ecto 1 from my personal collection.

Hotwheels variation on Ecto1a.

Hallmarks Ecto 1 ornament with siren sound.

Kenner's 1986 Ecto 1. Based on the cartoon series The Real Ghostbusters.

This particular car is actually an Ecto 1a. The same mold of car was released with only a new box, stickers, and ghost. When I bought this one I removed all the old stickers with the exception of the rear windshield. (I liked that Slimer was included.) I then cleaned the car up to its current condition and reprinted the stickers from the original release.

This plain looking variation is my favorite. The reason being is that it is a complete 1990 Kenner Ecto 1a.
The original box, sticker sheets, adverisements/etc. are all in great condition.
